If you are looking for some cheap, characterless mainstream cider probably made using somewhere near the bare legal minimum of 30% apple juice, often from imported concentrate, then you’d best stop reading this, get down to your nearest super store and see what deals there are.
If, however, you are interested in full flavour, full juice cider made with passion and which oozes locality, authenticity and flavour – then we are on the same page! Wild cider is only made using two ingredients – apples and patience.
Ripe cider apples are hand picked from Gloucestershire’s traditional, unsprayed orchards, often using fruit that otherwise goes to waste. No artificial flavourings or sweeteners, no water or corn syrup, just pure unadulterated juice, spontaneous wild yeast fermentations and gentle maturation to create cider like is always used to taste.
